Our Library

Eltham East has a modern, bright and fully integrated Library space for all children to enjoy.

Every week, Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 students enjoy a Library session with our Library Teachers where the passion and enthusiasm for reading and literature is sustained and grown.

Year 3 - 6 students visit the Library as part of their Literacy program. They are encouraged to browse, borrow and share recommendations with their peers.

As a part of the Library program, advantage is taken of special whole school events such as the Premiers’ Reading Challenge, Book Week and Literacy and Numeracy Week.
