Connections

Eltham East Primary School places great importance on building, maintaining and strengthening connections.

In the classroom, our ‘Creating Classroom Communities’ start-of-year unique program focuses on building a classroom community of learners. As a whole school we do lots of activities that help the students connect with each other, such as ELOs and special events, like the ‘R-mazing Race’.

The school is always looking to make connections within our local community and beyond. We have been actively involved in writing for local newspapers, and working with local artists, environment groups, Council and other community groups. As a school we have performed at the Eltham festival, Edendale Farm and regularly visit the local retirement homes.
