All cultures seem to have their own traditions That all accumulate from all the little things you find there But what is culture? Just how do we measure people? ‘cause when you look at them, you will find they’re not so different They all have customs, some which are sacred They all have special symbols of beauty They value friendship and acts of kindness They’re all the things that make us human

All cultures seem to have their own traditions

That all accumulate from all the little things you find there

But what is culture? Just how do we measure people?

‘cause when you look at them, you will find they’re not so different

They all have customs, some which are sacred

They all have special symbols of beauty

They value friendship and acts of kindness

They’re all the things that make us human

Eltham East Primary School Concert 2016

The Bridge Project presents "Kids are Kids"

What an entertaining and wonderful night. The concert was a celebration of our global links in Thailand through the Bridge Project which is funded by the Asia Education Foundation.

All our toes were tapping to the music in particular the finale song by Nicholas Buc.  The students work-shopped ideas around intercultural similarities and differences.  Each year level had a special aspect of culture that they showcased. The first verse is included under the photo.

The concert showcased the rich variety of talents in students and teachers. Anne Williams, who guides all aspects of the show. Katia Gonano (scriptwriter),  David Tyndall (Choreographer) and Alexander Clayton our accompanist and percussion ensemble teacher. The hard work by all our teachers and all students was evident in the performances.
